I seem to sense that he's in that invisible abeyance. Like his head is filled with grey fog that's light and hard to bear. That's what it's like. The Nothing. 
Wonderfully done, such a lot of emotion.

In all honesty, I really felt a bit emotional when I saw this deviation. By putting the title "Gone", it immediately came to my mind that this piece would highlight a loved one's passing. The two rocking chairs, as you pointed out, further validated that hypothesis.

This piece really serves as a sad reminder of how life works. There will come a time when our loved ones would bade us goodbye, and we may be left all alone in this world. But with this piece, we could at least be inspired to make good use of our time with them while we still have time.
